UHF Near-Field RFID Antenna – 400x400mm

Antenna gain alone does not determine the size or boundaries of an RFID reading area. The effective reading area also depends on the antenna’s electromagnetic characteristics, reader power settings, tag design, and installation environment. Test the complete setup to determine whether it provides the required localized identification.

Nearby metal can affect antenna performance and RFID communication. The result depends on the antenna design, mounting arrangement, tag type, and spacing from metal surfaces. If the installation includes metal counters, cabinets, or equipment, test the antenna in its intended position before deployment.

This antenna is specified for indoor use, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. Its specifications do not provide an IP protection rating for outdoor exposure. For outdoor installations, confirm the required environmental protection before selecting a suitable antenna.
